Product facts and FAQ

Quick answers for fitment, transport use, installation, and choosing the right Acebikes setup.

What is Acebikes?

Acebikes is a premium brand specializing in high-quality motorcycle transport and storage solutions, including motorcycle wheel chocks, tie-down systems, and garage accessories. Designed in Europe and available in the U.S., Acebikes products are built for riders who need reliable solutions for motorcycle transport, trailer loading, and secure parking.

Are Acebikes products universal?

Acebikes products are designed to fit a wide range of motorcycles, scooters, cruisers, touring bikes, and dirt bikes. However, proper fitment depends on factors such as wheel size, tire width, and available clearance. Always review the product specifications to ensure the best fit for your bike.

How do I choose the right SteadyStand?

The right SteadyStand depends on your wheel size, tire width, and whether you need a movable parking stand or a hard-mounted transport setup.

Movable models: SteadyStand models without “Fixed” in the name are portable and can be moved around easily in a garage, shop, trailer, or showroom.

Fixed models: SteadyStand Fixed, Multi Fixed, and Fixed Scooter are designed to be hard-mounted to a trailer, van, truck bed, or shop floor for transport stability.

SteadyStand Movable stand. Fits 15 to 19 inch wheels and 90 to 130 mm tire widths.
SteadyStand Fixed Hard-mounted version for transport. Fits 10 to 19 inch wheels and 90 to 130 mm tire widths.
SteadyStand Multi Movable stand for wider tires. Fits 15 to 21 inch wheels and 90 to 200 mm tire widths.
SteadyStand Multi Fixed Hard-mounted version for wider tires and transport use. Fits 15 to 21 inch wheels and 90 to 200 mm tire widths.
SteadyStand Scooter Movable stand for scooters. Fits 10 to 13 inch wheels and 80 to 120 mm tire widths.
SteadyStand Fixed Scooter Hard-mounted scooter version. Fits 10 to 13 inch wheels and 80 to 120 mm tire widths.
SteadyStand Cross Movable stand for motocross and off-road bikes. Fits 18 to 21 inch wheels and 90 to 120 mm tire widths.
SteadyStand Cross Basic Movable off-road stand option. Fits 18 to 21 inch wheels and 90 to 120 mm tire widths.
SteadyStand Cross Flex Movable off-road stand with flexible adjustment. Fits 18 to 21 inch wheels and 90 to 120 mm tire widths.
Can I use a SteadyStand for transportation?

Yes, many SteadyStand wheel chocks are suitable for motorcycle transport when used correctly. For transport applications, we recommend models like the SteadyStand Fixed, which are designed to be mounted to the floor of a motorcycle trailer, pickup truck, or cargo van for maximum stability.

Do I need additional straps when using a SteadyStand?

Yes. For safe motorcycle transport, always use tie-down straps in combination with a motorcycle wheel chock to properly secure your bike during transit. This is essential when transporting your motorcycle in a trailer, truck bed, van, or toy hauler.

For garage storage, the SteadyStand is designed to keep your motorcycle securely upright without additional straps.

How many straps should I use when transporting a motorcycle?

For transport, we recommend a 4-point tie-down setup: two straps at the front and two at the rear. The motorcycle should be secured at a slight forward angle in the direction of travel so it stays planted in the wheel chock during transport.

Can TyreFix be used on the front wheel?

Yes. TyreFix can be used on either the front or rear tire as long as there is enough clearance and it does not interfere with parts like the front fender.

Can I use a SteadyStand on the rear tire?

For rear-wheel use, the SteadyStand Multi is usually the better choice because it is designed for wider tires. It supports 15 to 21 inch wheels and tire widths from 90 to 200 mm.

What if my front wheel is 14 inches?

For a 14 inch wheel, the right stand depends on tire width and whether you are parking or transporting the bike.

  • For 80 to 90 mm tire widths, use SteadyStand Scooter or SteadyStand Fixed Scooter.
  • For 100 to 130 mm tire widths, the standard SteadyStand can work when set in the nearest 15 inch position.
  • For transport-only setups with 90 to 130 mm tire widths, SteadyStand Fixed is usually the better option.
What is the difference between parking and transport use?

Parking refers to stabilizing your motorcycle while stationary, such as in a garage, workshop, or showroom.

Transport involves securing your motorcycle during movement, such as in a trailer, pickup, or cargo van, where additional securing systems like tie-down straps are required.

Are Acebikes products easy to install?

Yes, Acebikes products are designed for quick and easy installation. Many motorcycle wheel chocks and stands can be used without permanent mounting, while others, such as Fixed models, can be securely installed for transport applications.

Can I use Acebikes products with scooters?

Yes, Acebikes offers dedicated solutions for scooters, including the SteadyStand Scooter, which is specifically designed for smaller wheel sizes and narrower tires commonly found on scooters and lightweight bikes.
